Just enjoying Wisconsin’s beauty during the summer. It was a great day for a hike. The park was crowded. Just as we were enjoying a post hike lunch and beer, a bunch of ambulances drove by. A hiker fell to his death less than an hour from when we were on the same trail. Life is short. Stone is slippery.

Lots of water and trees. Seems like a much better place to grow cattle than out west, doesn't it?
Land is relatively expensive in Wisconsin, although water is plentiful. As long as ranchers can operate on cheap land and free or cheap but dwindling water, the west will have cattle. A stupid feature for unregulated capitalism.
