They were the perfect couple for our Scamp and ready to take it on their own adventures.
We are relaxing on the spacious front porch of my brother-in-law’s cabin. It’s pleasantly cool with a view of the lake. Scott expects to join us next week.
1) I believe that is the back of somebody's pontoon boat going around the lake. That's what people do up here: pontoon around the lake, which is actually two connected lakes and about five miles long.
2) That is a very crowded campground that we were glad to leave after a month. It was quiet during the week, but that pic represents Saturday morning when it was jammed packed with campers, vehicles, golf carts and boats.
3) That narrow tan structure is where Scott keeps the life jackets and oars for the canoes. There is an outhouse on the other side of the driveway, which was the only facility for many years; however, Scott now proudly possess an indoor toilet and shower.
4) Julia uses one of the canoes to go out on the lake and paddle around. Neither of us fish. Scott only has the use of one hand (brain aneurysm residual from age 30) and doesn't really fish much anymore, but one of his buddies, who comes up here all of the time, does fish and frequently does up fish fries of bluegills and crappies.

Happy and safe travels.
Thanks. Nine more days until we are heading to Arizona. I've got a lot of miles ahead of me in the next couple of months.
Let's take 'em one at a time:
1) What is that out on the lake? Is it the prow of a boat?
2) what's the jumble of brown across the road center picture? Maybe a post-moderne sculpture made of cans?
3) Slender yellow structure?Michelle's deal-breaker - "outdoor plumbing?"
4) A canoe on the far right ready & waiting to go after those bluegills & crappies?
